Four Winged Beans

200g four-winged beans
1 tbsp dried shrimps
1 tbsp minced garlic
some chili strips for garnish
1/4 cup chicken stock
1/3 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil

Method:

  1. Cut the beans into thin slices. Wash the dried shrimps twice, drain well.
  2. Heat the wok and add 1 tbsp to 2 tbsp of oil into the wok, put the garlic and the dried shrimps into the hot wok and fry over medium low heat until very fragrant and golden.
  3. Throw in the beans. Add 1/3 tsp salt and fry.
  4. Sprinkle some of the chicken stock now and then as you fry to keep the veg moist and prevent it from burning.
  5. Add the chili strips. Taste and adjust the seasoning. Dish out when beans are still green.
