Spare Rib Soup with Black Bean and Lotus Seed

Ingredients:

10g black bean

10g lotus seed

10g solomonseal rhizome

10g job’s tears

5g dried longan

adequate ginger

50g spare ribs

100ml water

Seasonings:

¼ tsp salt

Methods:

  1. Scald spare ribs in boiling water for 5 minutes, remove and drain.
  2. Put all ingredients into stewing pot, pour in water and stew for 3 hours.
  3. Add salt, serve.

Functions:

Tonifies blood and eyesight; nourishes yin and remove heat.
